Lovense Gush 2 Motion Review: The Penis Massager That Reads Your Movement

If you asked me for the best penis massager on the market, I would give you one answer without hesitating. I said that about the original Gush 2, and I said it because of what men kept telling me after they bought one, not just because I knew what was going on inside it. So when Lovense told me they had improved it, I was curious and a little sceptical.

Out of the box, the Gush 2 Motion looks almost identical to the toy it replaces. Same size, same silicone wings, same motor, same battery. You would be forgiven for wondering what the fuss is about. The fuss is a sensor, and the sensor changes how the toy behaves in your hand.

What is the Lovense Gush 2 Motion?

It is a wearable vibrating and oscillating massager built for the head of the penis and the frenulum. The frenulum is that V-shaped bit on the underside where the shaft meets the glans. It is full of nerve endings and it gets overlooked in solo play more often than almost anywhere else on the body.

The toy has two flexible wings lined with ribs, and a small circular section that oscillates independently of everything else. That circle is positioned to sit over the frenulum. So the whole body of the toy vibrates and wraps you in sensation, while the circle delivers something more direct and specific to one small area. Cleaning and care

Easy, which is not true of every toy in this category. There are no nooks or crannies for anything to hide in, so warm water and a mild soap or a proper toy cleaner will do it. Rinse, leave it to dry properly, and put it back in its box. Store it away from other silicone toys.

The app and the Lovense ecosystem

Everything runs through the Lovense Remote app, on the same account and the same connected platform that ties every Lovense device together. Lovense call it the Lovense Ecosystem, and the practical upshot is that your toys talk to each other instead of sitting in separate silos.

Remote partner control. Once synced, a partner can drive the Gush 2 Motion from their phone, from the next room or from another continent, with full access to speed and pattern settings.

Custom and community patterns. The app hosts patterns built by other users, including edging sequences that run anywhere from ten minutes to an hour. You can load those or build your own. If you want to use this toy for edging specifically, the ready-made sequences save you a lot of trial and error.

Sound activation. The toy can respond to whatever is playing in the room, so intensity shifts with music or a voice.

Interactive content. Through the separate Vibe Mate app, the toy can sync to visual content so it mirrors what is happening on screen.

Who it is for

Men who want targeted stimulation on the head and frenulum rather than full-shaft stroking. Men who want a hands-free option without the size, noise and expense of a full automatic stroker. Still the best penis massager I know of, and now better than it was.
