Sex writing that doesn’t flinch
and doesn’t titillate.

Fourteen years writing about sex. Five of them for the global organisations that set the standards, and five writing weekly for men who tell me things they have told nobody else.

Peer-reviewed

Sexual justice and the future of sexual rights: a call to action

International Journal of Sexual Health, 2026. Co-authored, peer-reviewed, and published by Taylor & Francis. The academic side of the same argument I make everywhere else: that sexual knowledge is unevenly distributed, and that this is a justice question rather than a lifestyle one.

What I’ve been writing lately

Who I’ve written for

Five years writing for the organisations that set the standards.

I spent five years as the Communications Lead for the World Association for Sexual Health, the global body for sexual health and rights, and for My Sexual Health. Both involve declarations, position statements, congress and campaign communications, for an international audience.

Colleagues across the world trusted me with the public messaging on sexual health and rights: language that had to be accurate, careful, and hold up in every country it landed in.

Commissions and columns

Need someone who can write this without making it weird?

I write to brief, to deadline, and to word count. Features, columns, expert comment, explainers, and brand copy that has to be accurate as well as readable.

Subjects I cover: men’s sexual health, desire and mismatch, performance anxiety, pleasure and body awareness, sex after fifty, long-term relationships, sexual rights and access to education.

Send the brief, the word count and the deadline. Clippings and a rate card on request.
